"DIVA NATION" This is a project that started in 1999 and finished in 2001. The "star" Makia said to me one day out of the blue how would you like to photograph me. I said to her/him what a good idea. She/he said i will dress up and all i want from you is for the flash not to stop. So it was a deal. Through that period when the project was in motion there were visitors that came and went, some dressed and some were on lookers. ln the evening she/he demanded spot lights so she/he could prance around feeling like a super model. At the time Naomi was always that super model that inspired her. When others would dress up she/he would be polite but inside her self she/he would feel livid and full of vengeance at the fact that someone would dare to attempt to take from her "fame". They were quickly taken care of. Ridiculing them was the norm, and if that didn't work she would do something evil. The "evil" varied with each person, she always won. One of the photo shoots she wanted to be the cleaner slut. l think she did a good job then she died. l am using "died" metaphorically. There is so much lipstick one can have smudged on there walls. For her it was like she had to cover my walls with lipstick before she left. One day i had a problem and i rung her to come over. She said i will be there immediately. l'm still waiting.
